PLAISTOW — At a reception for its recent Annual Campaign Kickoff, the Plaistow Community YMCA was thrilled to recognize The Cafua Family Charitable Foundation with the “Make Here Better” Award for its commitment to help support local children and families in our community. The Plaistow Community Y’s Executive Director Tracy Fuller presented the award to CEO of Cafua Management Company, Mark Cafua, and his wife Isabel.
Since 2014, the Cafua Family Charitable Foundation has been giving back to local communities. Last year, the Cafua family, along with more than fifty of their local Dunkin' Donuts team members joined the Plaistow YMCA and Walmart, to provide a once-in-a-lifetime shopping spree experience for more than 100 deserving children from the Y's after school program. From Santa Claus, and hot chocolate to a fun-filled hour of shopping, it was a magical day for local children.
Tracy Fuller said, “Community partnerships and collaborations make it possible for us to reach beyond our Y and help more children and families. The Cafua family’s incredible generosity is a true testament to their dedication to our community. We are so grateful to Mark, Isabel and the Cafua Family Charitable Foundation for supporting the children in our program.”
