DURHAM — Join the Rockingham County Conservation District in enhancing pollinator habitats at Odiorne Point State Park, 570 Ocean Blvd., Rye. They'll be initiating new pollinator meadows with native plantings along the bike-path area near the entrance to the Park on Fri., September 24, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. This experience will include a tour of pollinator habitats in the park, pollinator and habitat discussions, native plantings, and other handwork in this area. This event is free.

What to bring: Gloves and hand trowels. Long pants recommended and close-toed shoes. Water bottle.

Youth Instructions: High school ages welcome in three-hour shifts (total).
