BRENTWOOD —The Mary E. Bartlett Memorial Library in Brentwood is collecting plastic now through January 17, with the goal to collect enough to build a bench made of the recycled materials. All clean and dry stretchy plastic bags and wrap are accepted, such as grocery bags, bread bags, ice bags, bubble wrap, stretch wrap, etc.

Collection bins are located inside the Mary E. Bartlett Memorial Library at 22 Dalton Road and outside by the garden in front of the shed so they can be dropped off at any time.
