DANVILLE —Brighten up the holiday season for someone you care about with a bouquet of flowers that also gives back in the local community! Community Supporting Community has been selected as the benefiting non-profit in the brand-new Hannaford Bloomin’ 4 Good Program for the month of December!
The Hannaford Bloomin’ 4 Good Program is an easy way for shoppers to give back as part of their regular shopping routine. Every $12.00 Bloomin’ 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker sold supports a non-profit local to the Hannaford in which it was purchased.
As part of this ongoing program, every month at every Hannaford location a different local non-profit is selected to benefit from the sale of the Bloomin’ 4 Good Bouquet. Community Supporting Community was selected as the December beneficiary by local store leadership at the Hannaford located at East Hampstead. Community Supporting Community will receive a $1 donation for every $12.00 Bloomin’ 4 Good Bouquet purchased at this Hannaford location in December.
“Flowers can improve your mental health (check out this study at Rutgers here: https://safnow.org/aboutflowers/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2016/10/ep03104132.pdf) — so go ahead and buy a bouquet for yourself or someone you care about,” said Tara West, President of Community Supporting Community. “At our nonprofit, we strongly believe mental health needs to be addressed on both an individual and community level. So we are thrilled to be chosen to benefit from this unique and impactful Hannaford Bloomin’ 4 Good Program, as the demands for mental health services are higher than ever this year.”
