PLAISTOW — Beginning in September, the Plaistow Public Library and the Plaistow Recreation Department will collaborate to offer fun and educational events for senior citizens to be held monthly at the library. The first program will be Fri., September 13 at 1:30 p.m.: "Your Smart Phone and You."

Does your smartphone make you feel dumb? Does it always do something you don't want it to do? Or not do something you wish it would? Do you pine for your old flip phone, or even worse, your old rotary phone? A friendly librarian can help! Come to the library and bring your phone. Tech-savvy librarians will show you tips, tricks, and answer your questions as best we can. We'll also set up your smart phones for emergency use. We'll provide help for iPhone users, Android users, and those who don't know the difference.

Kate Thomas, Technology Librarian at Hampstead Public Library, and Scott Campbell, Assistant Director at Plaistow Library, will lead the discussion.

Coffee (or cold drink) and dessert will be available. Register by calling the library 603-382-6011 or online
