EXETER — A terminal diagnosis can be a lonely experience. At a time when understanding is needed most, many hospice patients find themselves isolated, even from family and friends. They can no longer enjoy the pleasures in life they used to enjoy. You can help end that isolation and bring some joy back into their lives by becoming a Hospice volunteer. Rockingham VNA & Hospice will teach you how to provide compassionate support to those patients at the end of life and their families, but it is your music which will speak to their hearts.
Rockingham VNA & Hospice is offering comprehensive Hospice volunteer training beginning Mon., September 9 and continuing every Monday, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. through October 28.
Classes will be held at Rockingham VNA & Hospice, 4 Alumni Drive in Exeter.
To register, call Martha Carlson, Hospice Volunteer Coordinator at 603-772-2981 or 1-800-540-2981 ext. 8949.
