---- — HAMPSTEAD — In the first week of regular season play, RAM Printing disconnected Small World Wireless 61-51, Atkinson Graphics toned down Century Copiers 45-39 and United Business Machines (UBM) shelved Hampstead Center Market 45-39.



RAM was led by the hot shooting of Ben Ruggles with four 3’s and a total of 20 points. Big Joe Dzengeleski dumped in 12 with perfect 4-4 from the free throw line, Gary Cebula plopped in 9 with two 3’s, Anthony Serino willed in 8 with perfect 2-2 from the line, Craig Anderson dropped in 6, Mike McConnell, Mike Rockwood and Keith Capulli all added 2 and Jim White provided good hustle and defense.

Small World was led by Bill Whearty with 12 including perfect 2-2 from the line. Dave Youngblood slipped in 10 including one 3 pointer, Bill Chasse dropped in 9 with nice 3-4 from the line, Bob Dudal and Chad Dresser added 8 apiece, rookie John Boutin and ageless Rick Leuchte added 2 each and good hustle from Gerry Collins.



Atkinson was led by sharpshooter Ron Buccini with 20 including perfect 4-4 from the line. Sean Morrissey slammed in 8, Bob Edwards slipped in 5 with dismal 3-7 from the line, Mike Sandberg and Tom Ferrari both added 4, Jerry Kamitian and John Mayhew both added 2, and Kevin Stanton and Bob Giordano showed good defense and hustle.

Century was led by big Dave Wojichowski with 13 but horrendous 2-10 from the line. John Keisling slammed in 8 including two 3’s, Ross Huntington also added 8 including two 3’s and perfect 2-2 from the line, Rich Wells dropped in 6, rookie Kevin Bartolotta added 4 and good hustle from Frank Clemente and Ray Wilburn.

UBM was led by John Ganem and Bob Clark with 15 points each. Kent Anson popped in 11 on two 3’s and perfect 2-2 from the line, James Gardner and Howie Steadman slipped in 2 each and good defense and hustle from Ken Fure and Dana Knowles.

Center Market was led by rookie Steve Ellis with 17 including one 3 pointer and nice 4-5 from the line. Mike Desmond popped in 10, Bill Fantini slipped in 8 but atrocious 0-5 from the line, Steve Drelick added 4 and good hustle from Dave Rowell, Mike Pierce and Dennis Faino.
