Golf Tournament

HAMPTON — Seacoast United will host a scramble-format golf tournament featuring Oxford United staff and players on Sat., July 28, at Granite Fields Golf Club, Kingston. Oxford United is an English Division II professional soccer team who will be conducting their preseason training in the New Hampshire seacoast area from July 23-31.

Tournament fees are $135.00 per player and include all golf green fees, cart, use of driving range, dinner, contests and prizes, and a Nike/Seacoast United crewneck fleece. Each golfer will have the opportunity to spend a day on the golf course with the Oxford United organization, as each foursome will include an Oxford United player or staff member. Tee time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. with dinner immediately following. For full golf tournament details and online registration, please visit www.seacoastunited.com/oxfordunited.     Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
