---- — More than 150 volunteer run tournaments were recognized by the Jimmy Fund on February 7, at The International Golf Club in Bolton, MA, for their commitment to the Jimmy Fund Golf Program.  By organizing golf tournaments, they helped raise nearly $6.5 million in 2012 for adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through Jimmy Fund Golf, one of the nation's oldest and largest charity golf programs.

Shown being recognized for their outstanding efforts is Richard Ventura, Don Rose, and Dan Fusco, all of Atkinson, along with Jimmy Fund Director, Suzanne Fountain. Fusco, Rose, and Ventura, helped organize the 100 Holes in 1 Day tournament at Atkinson Resort & Country Club, which was recognized as a new tournament with the Jimmy Fund Golf Program.

Jimmy Fund Golf is one of the oldest and largest charity golf programs in the country. Now in its 31st year, Jimmy Fund Golf has raised more than $91 million to support adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. From traditional golf tournaments and country club member events to mini golf tournaments and day-long golf marathons, golfers of all ages and skill levels can conquer cancer through Jimmy Fund Golf.
