TYSL Soccer

PLAISTOW — The Timberlane Youth Soccer League's online registration is now open for the fall season. The season runs for eight weeks and begins on Sat., September 8. There will be no games over Columbus Day Weekend, October 6. The season ends on Sat., November 3.

The registration fee is $50.00 for U6 - U12 divisions and $65.00 for U14-U16 divisions. Register by July 15 to receive a sibling discount of $5.00. Registration ends on August 15. For additional registration and contact information, please visit the TYSL website, www.timberlaneyouthsoccer.org.

Please consider volunteering with TYSL. Timberlane Youth Soccer League is a non-profit organization made up of parents who volunteer their time to provide recreational soccer every spring and fall to the children of Atkinson, Danville, Plaistow and Sandown. Your help as a parent is needed for the league to remain a success. The league sponsors training clinics to assist potential coaches new to soccer. The only requirement is a desire to spend time with your child and have fun.

  • Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown, 66

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
