---- — KINGSTON — The 2013 Kingston Adult Softball League is a recreational opportunity for players over 18 years of age to enjoy Sunday morning slow-pitch softball and possibly some weeknights starting in late June and July. KASL modifies the ASA framework to meet the needs of its members for once a week Sunday games beginning about the first or second Sunday in May, running through the end of July, at Comeau Field in Kingston. All teams qualify for July playoffs. KASL is a fun league, and is not considered suitable for those who prefer intense, competitive environments. Seven inning games that last at little over an hour. All batters step to the plate with a count of one ball and one strike, for a fast paced, action packed game.
Team fees, traditionally covered by their sponsors, are $500.00 per team per season, covering the cost of ASA umpires, softballs, and awards.
Anyone looking for a team to play with, or, any recreational team of players are invited. Questions? Email Board member John Trahan at John.Trahan@Semikron.com; Subject: KASL.
