---- — HAMPSTEAD – In the tenth and final week of the regular season, Hampstead Center Market lost sole possession of first place when Atkinson Graphics knocked them off the shelf 50-33. RAM Printing moved up to a two-way tie for first by detoning Century Copiers 75-53, and Small World Wireless broke into the win column by cogging up the Ganem-less United Business Machine (UBM) 59-39. So the final regular season standings came out with Hampstead Center Market and RAM Printing tied for first which RAM won first on a coin toss. Both teams will have a bye in the first round of the single elimination playoffs. Atkinson Graphics finished third and will face last place Small World Wireless in the playoff and UBM and Century Copiers tied for fourth and will play each other in the playoffs.
ATKINSON GRAPHICS 50 (7-3)
HAMPSTEAD CENTER MARKET 33 (8-2)
Atkinson was led by Sean Morrissey and John Mayhew in his season high 14 points. Ron Buccini popped in 12 with perfect 2-2 from the free throw line, Bob Edwards slipped in 8 with measley free throw 2-6 effort, Tom Ferrari added 2 and great defense from Jerry Kamitian and Bob Giordano.
Center Market was still led by rookie Steve Ellis with 10 including one three-pointer and perfect 1-1 from the free throw line. Steve Drelick jammed in 8, Mike Desmond willed in 7, Dave Rowell and Bill Fantini both added 4 and good hustle from Mike Pierce and Dennis Faino.
RAM PRINTING 75 (8-2)
CENTURY COPIERS 53 (3-7)
RAM was once again led by sharp shooting Ben Ruggles with 29 including four 3’s and perfect 1-1 from the line. Gary Cebula popped in17 including three 3’s but dismal 2-4 from the line, Criag Anderson plunked in 13 including three 3’s, Joe Dzengeleski rammed in 12, and both Anthony Serino and Jim White added 2.
Century was led by John Keisling with 23. Dave Wojo slammed in 13 but horrific 1-4 from the line, Mike Koutelis popped in 5 including one 3, Rich Wells slipped in3 as did rookie Kevin Bartolotta but Kevin shot a weak 1-4 from the line, Ross Huntington, Frank Clemente and Ray Wilburn all added 2.
SMALL WORLD WIRELESS 59 (1-9)
UBM 39 (3-7)
Small World was led by Bill Whearty with 23 but poor 1-3 from the line. Dave Youngblood slipped in 10 but marginal 2-4 from the line, Bob Dudal whirled in 8, Bill Chasse spun in7 but pathetic 1-3 from the line, Chad Dresser and Rick Leuchte each added 4, rookie John Boutin added 3 and great defense from Gerry Collins.
UBM was led by Kent Anson with 16 including two 3’s. Gary Sonnenscham and Jim Gardner both popped in 5 including a three apiece, Bob Clark, Ken Fure and Dana Knowles all added 4, Peter Sweet added 1and good hustle from Howie Steadman.
