Dunkin’ jumped out to a 18-10 first quarter lead and took advantage of some cold shooting by Dunkin’ to build their lead to 30-16 at the half. Dunkin’ maintained their lead in the third frame, 46-30, and cruised to the 60-46 win. Bill Whearty led Dunkin’ with 18 points followed by Jeff Steenson with 14 points, Ben Ruggles 11 points, Wayne Hamilton 10 points, Bobby Clarke 5 points and Dick Danner with 2 points. East Coast was led by Jason Kimball with 17 points, Dan Munsell 9 points, Bill Demers 6 points, Harry Williams and Joe Dzengeleski 4 points each, and John Fortin and Dave Wojichowski with 2 points each. Dunkin’ led in field goals, 16-12, and both teams had two three-pointers. Dunkin’ hit 22 of 31 free throws for 71% while East Coast hit 16 of 24 for 67%.
