In a hard fought first quarter, Gelinas took a slim 12-11 advantage, and were able to add to their lead, 26-21, at the half. The teams exchanged baskets in the third frame, with Gelinas still leading, 34-29, going into the fourth quarter where Dunkin’ battled back and hit some key free throws to escape with the 49-48 win. Fred Malcolm led Dunkin’ with 21 points followed by Dano Anderson with 19 points, John Sheehan 5 points and Ken Fure with 4 points. Gelinas was led by Jason Kimball with 16 points, John Suprenant 13 points, Craig Anderson 5 points, Ken Gelinas, Dave Wojichowski and Mark Raumikaitis all with 4 points each, and Dave Goyette with 2 points. Dunkin’ led in field goals, 15-10, while Gelinas had an 8-1 advantage in three-pointers. The difference in this game was free throw shooting as Dunkin’ hit 16 of 21 free throws for 76% while Gelinas hit 4 of 7 for 57%.
