Legends Basketball Tryouts

PLAISTOW —Basketball players over 50 years old are invited to play in the Legends League this winter. Play is held on Monday nights at the Rockingham Athletic Club on Route 125 in Plaistow. This is a ten game season with potentially three playoff games. The team has been in existence for six years and is a very competitive league with a bunch of great guys participating.

The cost for the session is $125.00 plus $30.00 for a reversible and reusable Legends jersey. The fees cover gym rental, officials and an end of year banquet.

Tryouts will be held on Mon., January 7 and Mon., January 14 for all who are interested. Teams will be drafted after the second tryout night.

He is survived by his mother, Sally Furrow of Franklin, Maine and father, Curtis Kasper (Sandy) of Erlanger, Ky.; siblings, Terrie Kasper of Franklin, Maine, Andrew Kasper (Teresa) of Dayton, Ohio, Todd Kasper (Chang He) of Dayton, Ohio, and Emily Liu (Norman) of South Lebanon, Ohio. He also leaves behind many loving family members.
