Red Sox Tickets

ATKINSON — Atkinson Recreation is pleased to announce the Red Sox Tickets sale will be held on Wed., April 3, 7:00 p.m. at Atkinson Community Center, 4 Main Street Atkinson.

Please note the following: Doors will not open until 7:00 p.m. Tickets are sold on a first-come basis.

The first game is on Sun., June 9 vs. LA Angels at 1:35 p.m. (Infield Grandstand Section 22). The second game is on Thurs., July 25 vs. Tampa Bay at 7:10 p.m. (Infield Grandstand Section 24).

Tickets will be available to Atkinson residents only on Wed., April 3 at 7:00 p.m., at Atkinson Community Center, 4 Main Street.

The cost is $68.00 per person (per game) and includes game ticket, deluxe coach bus ride and driver’s gratuity. Tickets are limited to no more than four per family for one of the two games. Only cash, checks, and money orders will be accepted. All tickets are paid for the day of ticket sale and the tickets will be available for pick-up date to be announced or Recreation Commission will keep the tickets until the day of the game. A proper ID that includes your Atkinson address will be required. No telephone or email reservations will be accepted.

If any tickets remain unsold, they will become available for sale on Fri., April 5, 9:00 a.m. for Atkinson residents (you may purchase up to four additional tickets at this time) and for non-residents after April 12, with an additional $5.00 per ticket for non-residents.

    LAWRENCE — Marie Rose (Robidoux) Audy, passed away at her home surrounded by her family, after suffering a stroke in April. She was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Rose A. (Betit) and Alfred Robidoux, originally of Quebec, Canada. She was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Armand Joseph Audy, who passed away on June 28, 1976.

    Bar Harbor, ME — Francis M. Lurvey passed away Sunday, June 22, in Bar Harbor, Maine, after battling cancer. By his side were his sons, Edwin Lurvey and Steven Lurvey and his niece and husband, Debra and Richard Carey, as well as cousin, Marion McDonald. He was the son of Edwin R Lurvey (Bar Harbor) and Delia Amazeen (Dexter). He is survived by five children, a stepson, and their families. His sons, Edwin and wife April, Steven and wife, Pam, David and his daughter, Meghan, as well as his daughters, Lorraine and Ellen and her husband, Paul DiScipio with daughters, Katherine and Julia, and his stepson, Brian Faulkner and wife, Jody with children, Trevor, Rachel, and Keith. He is also survived by his sister, Sheryl, and many nieces and nephews including Frank Lurvey and Elaine Langer. Francis was predeceased by his twin brother, Frank, as well as his brothers, Edwin and Erwin. He was also predeceased by his longtime companion, Brian and Edwin’s mother, Maureen Faulkner and former wife, Roberta Lurvey Gilmore.
