L&M took an 8-7 lead in a slow moving first quarter but Dunkin’ started hitting some shots in the second period to take a 26-20 lead at the half. Dunkin’ was able to extend their lead, 39-32, going into the final frame but L&M was finally able to wear down the undermanned Dunkin’ to come from behind for the 49-44 win. Craig Anderson had 24 points, including 6 three-pointers, to lead L&M followed by Calvin Coleman with 16 points, Ken Anson 4 points, Sean Morrissey 3 points and Don Bell with 2 points. Dunkin’ was led by Bill Whearty with 24 points, Jeff Steenson 8 points, Ben Ruggles 5 points, Bobby Clarke 4 points, and Wayne Hamilton with 3 points. Dunkin’ led in field goals, 15-12, while L&M had a 6-1 advantage in three-pointers. Dunkin’ hit 11 of 15 free throws for 73% while L&M hit 7 of 11 for 64%.
