PLAISTOW —On Sat., October 21, adults, kids, and families are invited to come and experience a fun and challenging 2-Mile obstacle course run. The 2-Mile obstacle course will take runners over fields and farmland. The Rock Run Raiser will take place at 82 and 90 Newton Road, Plaistow. This event is open to kids beginning at age 8 and adults. There will be both competitive and non-competitive it waves.

The goal is for the community to come together to give back to those in need. All proceeds will be going to four different charities: Plaistow Local Veterans Post 34, Teen Challenge of Manchester (helping teens with addictions), Trust Without Borders (helping those caught in human trafficking), and Little Lambs Orphanage (supporting orphans in Honduras).

The event registration fees are: $49.00 for adults ages 16 and over, $39.00 per person for groups of four or more, and $29.00 for kids ages 8 to 15. This cost includes a free t-shirt and a meal at the event. For spectators the entry fee is $5.00.

There are three different options when registering. There is the adult competitive wave where prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female runners.
