  • Making Music Sanborn Style

    Sanborn Regional High School hosted its second annual Fine Arts Night at the high school featuring some of Sanborn’s finest musical talents. Eighth grade student Colin Holt is ready to hit the big stage. He is the son of Cheryl and Kevin Holt of Kingston.

  • Sanborn Drama South Pacific

    Roger’s and Hammersteins’s classic musical “South Pacific” was performed by Sanborn Drama at the Sanborn Regional High School. Giant palm trees graced the stage bringing you to the islands and all your favorite listening pleasures. Cast members include from left, Alex Felisberto, Lt. Buzz Adams; Michael Giordano, Professor; Tyler Sampsonis, Commander Harbson; and Collin Dagostino, Lt. McCaffrey.

  • Sanborn Students for a Cause

    Teachers, students and alumni at Sanborn Regional High School held a “cut it for a cause” cut-a-thon in the auditorium of the school in Kingston, to benefit the Virginia Bartlett Scholarship fund. Ginny Bartlett was the librarian at the school for eighteen years, and lost her battle to cancer. Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths makes and donates wigs to women fighting cancer. Committee members include from left, Madi McLellan, Erin Thompson, Sophie Bortone, Bob Bartlett, husband of Ginny, and Josie Eacho, Key Club president. A special thanks to stylists: Nina, Ashley, and Samantha from Epic Design Studio, Jackie and Melissa from Salon Invidia, and Tammy from Cutting Concepts.

    Hampstead, NH — Janet Gustafson, 54, of Hampstead, New Hampshire, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry after battling cancer. Janet was born in Concord, Massachusetts in 1959 and grew up in Amherst, NH. Her parents, Tom and Nancy Head also raised Janet’s older brother, Charles “Charlie.” Janet was predeceased by her father in 2009.

    Hampstead, NH — Margaret E. “Maggie” Dudgeon, 13, of Hampstead, NH, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014, in Brattleboro, VT. She was born on June 14, 2000, in Nashua, NH, the daughter of Tracy (Burnham) Dudgeon and R. Greg Dudgeon. Maggie loved all animals, especially horses. She was a natural athlete and enjoyed cheering, gymnastics and rock climbing. She loved music, baking and will certainly be missed by her many friends.
