Sanborn Family School Partnership

KINGSTON — A new group, Sanborn Family School Partnership will hold their kick off meeting on Wed., May 29, 7:00 p.m. in the Sanborn Regional High School Library. All parents, school personnel and interested community members are welcome.
The Sanborn Family School Partnership is a parent-led group working in cooperation with the Sanborn Regional School District. Their mission is to get parents together in a positive and supportive environment where they can make connections, share resources, and learn new things about the world of Special Education. Through communication and education they hope to connect families and schools in ways that help support and improve the lives and education of children with unique challenges.
NH Connections will join with Jennifer Pomykato, Sanborn Regional School District Director of Student Services, about initiatives and how the group can best meet the needs of the community. They want to hear your ideas and suggestions, so please come and enjoy some snacks, networking, and a short film as they begin this collaboration.
Please contact Julie Blomberg at 603-382-4335 for further information or questions.

  • Successful Conservation Collaboration

On June 17, the sophomore class of Sanborn Regional High School made a field trip to the Old Frye Town Forest, one of Kingston's five town forests, to assist the Kingston Conservation Commission in the removal of invasive plants from the area near the trailhead, notably, an extensive and aggressive patch of Japanese knotweed. This project was the culmination of the school's third year of intra-curricular collaboration with the Commission to address local environmental issues, and to make conservation an area of study and research. Congratulations from the Commission to the teachers and students for a job well done!
