Preschool Registration

HAMPSTEAD — The Hampstead School District is accepting applications for Fall 2013 enrollment in the Hampstead Inclusionary Preschool (T.E.E.C.H.). This program serves 3 and 4 year old children and is housed at the Hampstead Central School.

The TEECH Program is based on an “inclusionary education” model. The program utilizes a transdisciplinary approach that addresses the individual needs and learning styles of all children. Studies have shown that all children gain from an inclusionary model. Children enrolled in this program will benefit from a developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum.

The TEECH Program offers morning and afternoon classes. Presently, there are openings in all classes. To be enrolled, children must be three or four by September 30 of the year they enter school. There is a cost associated with the program and parents will need to provide transportation. It is not necessary for the tuition-paying children to be residents of Hampstead. Children must be toilet trained by the time school starts in September.

The following classes are offered:

Four-Day Morning Program (3 and 4 year olds): School is in session four mornings a week: Tues.-Fri. Morning preschool is from 9:05-11:40 a.m. The total program cost is $2200 for the 2013-14 school year. The tuition will be $2,100 or ten monthly payments of $210.00. There is a non-refundable fee of $100.00 at the time of registration.

Five-Day Morning Program (3 and 4 year olds): School is in session five mornings a week.

Morning preschool is from 9:05-11:40 a.m. The total program cost is $2,500 for the 2013-14 school year. The tuition will be $2,400 or ten monthly payments of $240.00. There is a non-refundable fee of $100.00 at the time of registration.

Five-Day Afternoon Program (3 and 4 year olds): School is in session five afternoons a week. Afternoon preschool is from 12:20-2:50 p.m. The total program cost is $2500 for the 2013-14 school year. The tuition will be $2,400 or ten monthly payments of $240.00. There is a non-refundable fee of $100.00 at the time of registration.
