Be Web Smart

KINGSTON — Be Web Smart Workshop, sponsored by the Sanborn Regional High School PTO will be held on Wed., February 13 at 6:00 p.m., in the Library at Sanborn Regional High School.

This workshop is designed for parents of various age groups: elementary, tweens, teens to learn what steps to take to protect themselves and their children online. If there is a computer at home or if you and your kids use gadgets such as an iPod touch, iPhone or iPad and even cell phones, then this course will help you become Web Smart!

Join Jean Dumais of bewebsmart.com as she demonstrates safe searching in Google, Yahoo, and Bing; restriction settings on devices such as iPod touch, iPad, iPhones; and parental control options for computers and devices.
