Scott Noyes spoke to a crowded room on the topic of “Supporting Children’s Play” at Hampstead Academy during its first Community Education Workshop, a happy success for the newly appointed non-profit organization. Scott Noyes contends, “The importance of play (in early education) can never be exaggerated.” Time spent in meaningful play by young children offers the social and physical context necessary for true and lasting learning to take place.
The goal of Hampstead Academy’s Community Education Workshop Series is to provide information from expert facilitators on varying educational topics to parents and educators within the community in order to support informed, high quality school experiences. The workshops will be offered regularly and are free and open to the public.
