The Superintendent reported on the new growth model included in the NH Department of Education’s federal waiver for No Child Left Behind. The new growth reports provide median growth and percent proficiency data for students with disabilities, socio-economically disadvantaged, and all other students’ subgroups. Similar results have been noted in other districts. The district is having conversations on a state, region, and local level. The District Leadership Team will develop a course of action after collecting input from teachers and other resources outside the district.
