'Anxious Children, Worried Parents'

HAMPSTEAD — The Hampstead PTSA and HSEPG invite you to a workshop presented by one of the foremost specialists in the treatment of childhood anxiety. Lynn Lyons will present “Anxious Children, Worried Parents” on Mon., October 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hampstead Central School Cafeteria.

You will learn ways to help your child or student accept and manage “normal” worries, control and calm the physical symptoms of anxiety, choose exploration of the world over avoidance, and recognize and overcome exhausting and limiting thought patterns. Babysitting and door prizes! Books will be available on site for $14.00.

All parents, school personnel and interested community members are welcomed and encouraged to attend this meeting. Certificates for staff development hours will be available.
