Finders Keepers Assists Child Advocacy Center

Finders Keepers recently delivered 100 new stuffed animals to Child Advocacy Center (CAC).  CAC has a mission is to provide a safe environment for the evaluation of alleged child abuse. Through the collaboration of public, private, and community partners, they work to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of abused children.  When Finders Keepers heard they were in need of stuffed animals, they reached out to their network and facebook friends and within a week were able to fill the need.   This is not the first time Finders Keepers has stepped up - a couple years ago they did a "counter can" collection.  The store collected money from its customers that was then matched by other local businesses.  The stores sell new and used items to help the charities they support.  They also sponsor all shipping for the Buffman Project, a combat troop support non-profit started by an Exeter Marine and his unit.  The store has locations on Portsmouth Ave., Exeter, and Crystal Ave., Derry.  CAC has a location at the community campus in Portsmouth and also in Derry.  Contact information is www.FindersKeepersNH.com, 603-772-1733.  CAC can be reached at www.cacnh.org, 603-422-8240.
