Collectively: Coalition, Police and Superstore

The Raymond Coalition for Youth, Raymond Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Raymond Hannaford Store, teamed together to provide a free and anonymous, no questions asked, service to the community. Together, they gave the opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Gideon Donated Toys for Tots

Gideon Masonic Lodge No.84 F&A.M. of Kingston presented a check for $250.00 to the Kingston Fire Association on behalf of the sponsored Toys for Tots campaign. Dedicated Firefighters Presented Awards

Plaistow Fire Chief John H. McArdle presented eleven Certificates of Appreciation during the annual Pay Night Supper, held at the John D. Fitzgerald Safety Complex (named after the longtime fire chief) at 27 Elm Street in Plaistow. Top photo: given in recognition of dedication and commitment to the mission of the department as a member of the Engine-7/Rescue-6 Replacement Committee. FGC Holds Christmas Party

The Fremont Garden Club (FGC) held their annual Christmas Party for members, spouses and guests on December 18 at the home of club president, Carolyn Carr.  A Yankee Swap was also held for the members – always a fun time. Thank you to all who contributed delicious goodies for the party.  The next meeting of the FGC will be held on Tues., January 22, at 7:00 p.m., at the Fremont Library Community Room.  Guest Speaker will be Mark Davis of Pawtuckaway Nurseries.  All interested persons are invited to attend.

  • Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown, 66

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
