Art and Inspiration

Sanborn Middle School students dazzled family members and guests at their presentation of “Creative Roots” – Art and Ingenuity Around the World”, held at the school. Art students researched arts and crafts from their own heritage; science students offered a Toy Shop, with hands on global games; drama students presented a series of Tableaux Vivant, or Living Pictures, with painted backgrounds and student actors entering the famous paintings. Memorial Day Remembrance

Memorial Day 2014 will be celebrated on Mon., May 26, to honor all military men and women who have fought to keep this great country free, and those who continue to serve and keep America the “Home of the Brave”. Church services, parades, and other events are scheduled to take place in most of these Southern New Hampshire towns. A fitting remembrance graces the exterior of the Carl G. Knights Award Scholarships

Faith Lutheran Church

Located in historic Exeter, this is a Lutheran church that has been serving the community since 1985. It offers Sunday worship, teen groups, and programs for younger children. The church provides nursery school during worship services on Sundays, as well as a range of community activities, including meals, Bible groups ,and men’s worship. The church is located at 4 Elm Street in Exeter, and Sunday worship service begins at 10:00 a.m. Pastors include: Rev. Steven Bartell, senior administrative and Rev. Crafty Crafters

The annual Atkinson Spring Craft and Foods Fair was held at the Atkinson Community Center. Hundreds of products were on display at this popular spring event. Taking a spin with many new items found around the home with multiple uses for the whole family to enjoy, are sisters Denise Affannato, left, and Dawna Osgood, of Haverhill.
