To the Editor:

On Fri., June 16, 151 students at Sanborn Regional High School completed a cycle in their lives that began with the District’s first Kindergarten class thirteen years ago. Punctuated with festive bagpipes, emotional music from the High School Band and Chorus, and excellent speeches from both graduates and District staff, these 151 graduates now embark on the next cycle of their lives.

As Dr. Blake remarked, Sanborn has sought to prepare them not only for their next course of study and/or career, but also for being lifelong learners so that they can meet the challenges of the acceleration of change in our technology and society.

It was a privilege to be a part of this celebration along with fellow elected officials, Sanborn Trustees, students, parents and family, administrators and teachers. I give hearty congratulations to all the graduates and wish them every success, joy and fulfillment as they leave Sanborn.
