  • Doris Bennett, 94

    NEWTON JUNCTION, N.H. — Doris (Robinson) Bennett, 94, died peacefully December 19, 2011 at Hillsborough Nursing Home in Goffstown, NH.
    Doris was born in Methuen, January 30, 1917 to James Robinson and Faith Crossley Robinson. She attended Methuen public schools, graduated from the Edward F. Searles High School and The McIntosh School of Business. She worked as a secretary at Turner's Dairy in Salem, NH and retired from Western Electric in 1977. She was the first organist at St. David's Episcopal Church in Salem, NH during its first few years as a church. After living in Salem for 37 years she moved to Newton, NH for 25 years.

  • Joseph G. Bolduc Sr., 87

    RAYMOND, N.H. — Joseph Gerard Bolduc Sr., 87, passed away at his home after a lengthy illness on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, surrounded by his family.
    He was born in Boscawen, NH on Sept. 6, 1924, the son of the late Charles and Sarah (Lavoie) Bolduc. A resident of Raymond for the last 36 years, he grew up in Deerfield, NH and also formerly resided many years in Fremont, NH. A logger by trade, in his early years he logged with the help of horses. He was also formerly employed many years at the Spaulding and Frost Barrel Factory in Fremont, NH and drove a bus for the Timberlane school system.

    SANDOWN, N.H. — John D. Park, 83, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 at the Lawrence General Hospital following a long illness and was surrounded by his loving family.
    John was a Methuen resident for 67 years and had moved to Sandown where his family resided for the past 16 years. He was the son of Hugh and Elizabeth (Morrison) Park. John's working career began as the self-employed owner of East End Atlantic, in Methuen, and service manager at Park-Hegarty Porsche Audi in Lawrence. He retired from the AGFA Corporation of Wilmington, where he was employed for thirteen years.
