John Albert Taylor, Jr.

Clermont, FL — John Albert Taylor, Jr., age 91, longtime resident of Newton, New Hampshire and snowbird of Clermont, Florida, died peacefully Thursday afternoon, December 27, 2012, at Celebration Hospital in Kissimmee, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris M. (Bruce) Taylor, who died July 25, 2010.

Born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, September 24, 1921, he was the son of the late John A. and M. Dorothy . (Spencer) Taylor and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1940. He furthered his education at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, where he graduated from the the Stockbridge School of Agriculture.

John worked at A T & T until his retirement. He also ran the Bonnie View Poultry Farm in Haverhill and at one time was an owner of Tameroll Bowling Alley in Merrimac. For many years he held membership in the Grange, on both the local and State levels, serving as an Officer for both. He also belonged to Bethany Masonic Lodge in Merrimac and the Country Pond Fish & Game Club in Newton, NH , and had been a Volunteer Fire Fighter.

His survivors include his four daughters, Jane Taylor; Bonnie Nolin and husband Charles; Donna Madore and husband Raymond and Laurie King and husband Anthony all of Newton, NH; a brother, William H. Taylor of Windsor, CA; two sisters, Minerva Osborne of Kingston, NH and Helen Parker of Davenport, FL; along with six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several generations of nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed by them all.

ARRANGEMENTS: Memorial services and interment in Willow Grove Cemetery, Newton, New Hampshire, will be held when the warm weather returns in Spring, 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Newton Fire Association, P.O. Box 209, Newton, NH 03858 or the Country Pond Fish & Game Club, 82 Pond Street, Newton, NH 03858 or the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are by Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
