Richard Michael Toohey, 61

Braintree, Mass. — Richard Michael Toohey, 61, a resident of Braintree for 37 years, passed away on March 11, 2013 surrounded by family. He was the loving and devoted husband of the late, Sharon (Tanner) Toohey and father to Jessica Toohey (fiancée of Kyle Kent) of Rockland and Brian Toohey of Braintree.

Rick was born in Boston and raised in Roslindale where he attended Sacred Heart and participated in the marching band. He was a graduate of UMass Boston, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and worked as a Boston Firefighter on Ladder 10 for a decade. Rick enjoyed boating on Lake Ossipee in New Hampshire and Sebago Lake in Maine with his family and friends. He supported his children in their various town sports, loved the performing arts and Broadway shows.

Besides his children he is survived by his beloved mother, Elizabeth Toohey of Brighton; brother, Stephen Toohey and his wife, Lillian of Atkinson, N.H.; cousin and dear friend, Raymond Phillips of Milton, Mass; brother-in-law, James McNally and his wife, Wendy of Somerville; beloved niece, Melissa Toohey of Florida, beloved nephews, Stephen Toohey Jr. and his fiance', Jessica Lewis of Raymond, N.H. and Kevin Toohey and his fiancee’, Robine Fafard of Candia, N.H.; twin grand-nieces, Leanne and Mariah Toohey of Candia, N.H.; grand-nephew, Joshua Toohey of Florida and many other nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 211 N. Main St., Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St Rt. (37), Braintree, Thursday, 5-8 p.m. Interment private.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
