Always a hard worker, he enjoyed working with his hands and had a great talent for wood working and building things to improve his homes. Also a fierce competitor and lover of sports, he was very involved with the Pop Warner Football organization when both of his sons played.

Upon his retirement in 1992, he moved to Florida to play his beloved game of golf year round.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Buffelli of Silver Lake, NH, his sons Brian and wife Sung of Sandown, NH, and Gary and wife Kathy of Melrose, MA, grandsons Kyle Buffelli of Silver Lake, NH, Michael Eno of Sandown, NH, Ryan and Kevin Wheelock of Melrose, MA, brothers Charles and wife Sally Hogan of Spring Hill, FL, and Ronald and Carol Hogan of Spring Hill, FL, and his first wife Lynn Wheelock of Silver Lake, NH. He was predeceased by his mother, Jeannette Denis Wheelock of Salem, MA in 1976.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at The New Hampshire Veteran's Home in Tilton, NH, for their caring, help and support through such a difficult time.
