Haverhill — Mr. William J. O’Brien (Bill, Buff) Sr. 94, of Bradford, died on September 29, 2012 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House. Bill was born in Bradford on April 14, 1918, son of the late Robert E. and Florence E. (McKiegue) O’Brien.
Bill was the husband of the late Florence (Hodgdon) O’Brien and is survived by his two sons and their wives, William J. Jr. and Diane O’Brien, Mark A. and Cindy O’Brien; three daughters and their husbands, Susan M. and her husband William Pittman, Kathleen A. and her husband Robert Jakubasz, Terri M and her husband Michael Finn; a son-in-law, David Apitz; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren as well as two step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services were held on Friday, October 5 at 10 at H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. Bradford. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11 at Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Interment followed in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
