Benjamin M. Fitzgerald, Sr., 91

HAMPSTEAD — Benjamin M. Fitzgerald, Sr., 91, of Hampstead, died on Friday, Sept.16, 2011 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on Dec. 18, 1919 in Yarnaby, Okla., son of the late Garrett and Myrtle (Faubion) Fitzgerald.

Mr. Fitzgerald was a veteran of the United States Merchant Marines. He worked for Filene's Department Store in Boston, and later worked as a machinist for United Carr Fastener in Cambridge, retiring in 1982.

Ben enjoyed being outside, gardening, farming, and the smell of fresh-cut hay. He also enjoyed watching the Red Sox. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by six daughters, Nancy Brustin and husband Edward of Bow, Virginia Black and husband Frederick of Sandown, Kathleen Turner and husband Ronald of Hampstead, Patricia Fitzgerald and partner David Tebo of St. Albans, Maine, Madeline Lesh and Elizabeth Ann Trueblood; one son, Benjamin Fitzgerald, Jr. and wife Laura of Hampton; six grandchildren, Christopher Black, Mathew Turner, Kimberly Brady, Samantha Brustin, Olivia and Tyler Fitzgerald; four great-grandchildren, Christopher Black, Elise and Lochlann Brady and Ryan Turner. He was predeceased by his wife of nearly 65 years, Dorothy (Stepasiuk) Fitzgerald on Aug. 18, 2011; and grandson, Sean Francis.

ARRANGEMENTS: Private services are being held by the family. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.     Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
