NEWTON, N.H. — William A. Baker, 96, of Newton, NH passed at Hyder Family Hospice Home in Dover, NH on January 12, 2012.
Bill was born in.Lynn, Ma in 1915 to Helen and William Murphy. A graduate of.Essex Agricultural and Technical.High School in Danvers, Ma. He was a long time Newton resident who was involved in the town. Over the years he was an electrician, volunteer fire fighter, policeman, selectman, building inspector and on the board of trustees at the.Merrimack Savings Bank.
He is survived by.his grandchildren, Dawn Dutton, Paula Barlow, Diana Pagnottaro, Alison Baker & Kristen Milks,.as well as.12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor Baker,.son David Baker and.daughter Pamela Mastroianni. He was a devoted husband, father,.grandfather and great-grampy. He was loved by all who knew him.
