Muriel J. Kohlauff, 95

BRENTWOOD, N.H. — Mrs. Muriel J. (Hadden) Kohlauff, 95, died Friday evening, May 20, 2011 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood.

Born in New York City, daughter of the late George and Nellie (Pall) Hadden, she was raised in Ardsley, N.Y. and graduated form the local high School. A resident of Scarsdale, N.Y. for many years until moving to Newton in 1964, Mrs. Kohlauff was a 22-year resident of Packer Meadows before moving to Brentwood in 2006.

Employed as an inspector at the former Keezer Manufacturing Co. of Plaistow, Mrs. Kohlauff was a member of the Newton Junction Baptist Church and the Silver Tops of Newton. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, watching old movies, playing Scrabble and solving puzzles. She also enjoyed New England winters and most of all, sitting by the fire with a beer at her daughter's home in Newton.

The wife of the late Edward W. Kohlauff, she is survived by a loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Bruce Bilodeau of Newton; grandchildren, Lisa Chase and her companion Wayne Schwarz of Enfield, David Chase and his companion Amber Stone of Claremont, Shane Bilodeau and his wife Jeni of Newton, and Corey Bilodeau of Newton; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Ariana, Dominic, Meadow, River and Kyran; also a daughter, Carol Duchemin; and grandchildren, Philip Duchemin, Edward Duchemin, and Tracey Duchemin; and a great-grandson, Derik, all of Epping. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Bruce Duchemin.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral to be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
