Albert H. Goodridge, Jr., 75

Atkinson, NH — Albert H. “Bunky” Goodridge, Jr. 75, died June 5, 2012 at Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood.

Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Albert and Lillian (MacNair) Goodridge. He graduated from Lynn English High School and served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard from 1959 until 1962 with the rank of Private First Class. Stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas, he was assigned to air defense on the NIKE AJAX Missile System. He was employed for several years at General Electric Co. plants in Lynn and Wilmington until his retirement.

He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, The Amazing Brains of Nashua, Big Island Pond Corporation, The Hemlock Heights Association, the State of New Hampshire Council on Aging, and The New Hampshire Lakes Association.

Mr. Goodridge was an accomplished artist in water colors, and also enjoyed boating, sailing, waterskiing, and alpine skiing. He was an avid antique car enthusiast as a member of the Jamaica Plain Antique Car Club, and also enjoyed model ship building and motor cycling.

A resident of Atkinson since 1960, Mr. Goodridge was involved in volunteer work around the State of New Hampshire and was a cohort with his wife, supporting her position with the New Hampshire New Motor Vehicle Arbitration Board.

He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Patricia (Force) Goodridge, a son Wayne A. Goodridge of Utah , a daughter, Virginia A. Ryan of Florida, three grandchildren, Nieth, Monica and Jason, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by the many friends and acquaintances that he made and cherished while a resident at the Rockingham County Nursing Home.

ARRANGEMENTS: At Mr. Goodridge’s requests, there will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to The Resident Fund of Rockingham county N.H., 117 North Rd, Brentwood, NH.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
