James Roy Foster, Jr., 88

Lee, N.H. — James Roy Foster, Jr., 88, formerly of Framingham and Wellfleet, died Monday, September 17, 2012 at Kirkwood Corners in Lee, N.H. after an extensive illness. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Winona Mileham Foster of 49 years. He is survived by his brother, William B. Foster of Wellfleet; his three daughters, Valerie Piotrowicz of Kirkland, Wash., Lianna Foster of Wellfleet, and Melanie Robert and her husband Damian Joseph Robert of Epping, N.H.; five grandchildren, Kaitlin Piotrowicz of Washington, Damian J. Robert of Marlboro, Steven Foster Robert, Jennifer Pauline Robert and Ashley Anne Robert of Epping; a great granddaughter, Harley James Leopold of Washington.

Jim was born in Greenfield to Pauline Burnham and James Roy Foster. He attended the University of Massachusetts and later served proudly in the United States Army in France. He returned to finish his education at Babson College. He and his wife, Winona, resided in Natick prior to Framingham. Jim was a stockbroker at Tucker Anthony and R.L. Day, of Boston, for nearly 40 years. Upon his retirement they moved to Wellfleet on Cape Cod. Jim was an avid oil painter, pursuing this passion and inspired by landscapes of the area. He was a member of the Mensa Organization and the president of the Orlean’s Art Association. He was respected and loved by all who met him.

ARRANGEMENTS: A private memorial service will be held in Wellfleet. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of James R. Foster to the American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
