William Harvey, Jr., 84

Kingston — William Berkley Harvey Jr., of Kingston, formerly of Revere, Mass., passed peacefully on October 9. Devoted husband of 60 years and predeceased by Adeline Nada Harvey and son of William and Nellie Harvey. Loving dad to: Donna Reddington, wife of Dale, William G. Harvey Sr., husband of Maria and Karen Pellerin, wife of William Jr.; grandfather of Donna and husband Mark, Bill Jr. and wife Frankie, Robyn and husband David, Michael and Brooke, John and wife Jen, and Graham; great-grandfather to three, step great-grandfather to four, and older brother to Glenn.

Bill enjoyed keeping things calm and life in perspective. Always pondering why and questioning everything, he would have the opportunity to ask, "Where is Biloxi?, How did all my sockets wind up in the pond?, Will the canoe be there to take me home?". A generous man he insisted on a new automobile every three years, including the little red MR2, for Nada, of course. Whistle stops to Nova Scotia and Sunderland were common but do you know just how long the plane took to get to Hawaii? Blueberry picking, fishing, splitting wood and being a Union man were soothing ways to enjoy life. Cats on Cooper Grove were more suitable than CATS on Broadway. Bill’s questions, lessons learned, and family values set his heirs off to discover the wonders of a good life. Bill’s eyes, the eyes of a former Deacon, have seen the Glory.

ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of Bill’s life was held on Saturday, October 20, at the First Congressional Church in Newton, N.H. Expressions of sympathy may be donated in Bill’s name to the Rockingham VNA and Hospice, 137 Epping Road, Exeter, NH 03833 or the First Congregational Church, 6 Church St. Kingston, NH 03848. Arrangements were by the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter. Please visit www.Stockbridgefh.com to sign an on line guest book.
