Courtney L. Duso, 84

Peabody — Courtney L. Duso, 84, beloved husband of Judith (Johnson) Duso of Peabody, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, February 3, 2013.

Born in Whitinsville, he was the son of the late Melvin and Louise B. (Young) Duso. He grew up in Whitinsville, a section in the town of Northbridge. After graduating high school, he then attended and graduated from Assumption College in Worcester. Mr. Duso was a french teacher at Nashoba Regional High School for forty years until retiring in 1998.

Courtney was a member of the Mass Retired Teachers Association. He was a very gifted handyman and was able to accomplish tasks around the house for electrical, carpentry, and mechanical issues. Family and friends will forever remember his kind heart, sense of humor and infectious laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Judith (Johnson) Duso of Peabody, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage; a son, Christopher Duso of Peabody; a daughter, Amy Bedard and son-in-law, Derek Bedard of Groveland; two grandchildren; two brothers Melvin Duso of California and Joseph Duso of Milbury; and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial to celebrate Courtney’s life, will be held in the spring. Expressions of sympathy can be made to a charity of one’s choice.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
