Susan M. Jackman

Raymond, NH — Susan Margaret (Pond) Jackman, 62, died at her home in Raymond, NH on December 18, 2012. She was born on March 11, 1950 in Newburyport, MA, the daughter of the late Russell and Isabelle (Ross) Packer. She grew up in Newburyport, lived in Kingston, NH from 1972-2011, and resided in Raymond for over the last year.

A true “jack of all trades”, Susan was formerly employed for 10 years at Bailey Corporation in Seabrook, NH, as a silk screener for Keezer Manufacturing in Plaistow, NH, and as a cook in Newton Junction, NH. Most recently she was employed at Walmart in Epping, NH in the garden center, where she greatly enjoyed working with customers and her true love, plants.

Susan was gifted with a magical “green thumb”. She enjoyed tending her flower and vegetable gardens and loved many outdoor activities including hunting. She was always “on the go” and liked cooking and playing video games. She also possessed a unique sense of humor that made people love being around her.

She was predeceased by her husband Terry Lee Jackman on November 6, 2009, and also by her brother Norman Pond, and her sister Donna Packer; and is survived by her son Lon M. Jackman and Maureen McMahon of Manchester, NH; her daughter, Shellie M. and husband, Timothy Gallagher of Plaistow, NH; her grandson, Jory Jackman; 4 sisters, Sharon Cassidy, Shelly LaMothe, Diane Terrio, and Ebbie Beausoliel; 4 brothers, Raymond Pond, Daniel Pond, Russell Packer and Richard Packer; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet dog Rosie.

ARRANGEMENTS: Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, from 5-7 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping St., Raymond, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to NH Audubon, Attn: Annual Fund, 84 Silk Farm Road, Concord, NH 03301.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
