Mary L. Hesse, 86

Kingston, NH — Mary L. (Murphy) Hesse, 86, longtime resident of Kingston, NH, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at the Wingate at Haverhill Nursing Home, Haverhill.

Born in Cambridge, MA, daughter of the late Patrick F. and Katherine L. (Connarton) Murphy, she attended St. Mary’s Grammar School and Cambridge Latin School. She worked as an Executive Housekeeper and in maintenance for Radcliffe and Harvard Universities.

She was a member of the former Mary Mother of the Church Parish and St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Newton, NH where she served as a eucharistic minister and altar server and on the Social Life Committee. She was a member of the church choir and worked at the thrift shop and food pantry of St. Frederick’s. Mrs. Hesse was honored in 2006 by the Rockingham News as the “Rockingham County Volunteer Citizen of the Year”.

Wife of the late Theodore O. “Ted” Hesse, who died in 2005, she is survived by a son, Thomas F. Hesse of Kingston, NH; two daughters and son-in-law, Marie F. & John Garber of New Bern, NC and Patricia L. Hesse of Cambridge; a sister-in-law, Barbara Parshley of Kingston, NH; three grandchildren, Laurie Stokes, Tara D’Andrea and Erik Hesse; and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Thomas F. “Buddy” Murphy.

ARRANGEMENTS: Services were held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Burial was held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Kingston, NH.     Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
