Eugene was a nonstop worker and a very generous person, always finding the time to help others. "He was always fixing something."
He loved dancing, the forests, and being a Boy Scout leader. In his youth, he enjoyed camping, hiking and skiing. Before ski lifts, on more than one occasion, he climbed Mount Washington to ski Tuckerman's Ravine. As a dad, he instilled a love of the outdoors and an appreciation for nature by taking his family on many daring outdoor adventures.
He is survived by his son, Daniel LaBossiere and his three daughters, Cecile LaBossiere, Annette Titorenko and Therese Gagne. His grandchildren, Michael Gagne, Loren Mantecon, Nicole Gagne and Danielle Gagne, as well as his great-grandchild, Cameron Mantecon, also survive him. Eugene was predeceased by his siblings, George LaBossiere, Evelyn Soucy, Rita Conway, Alfred LaBossiere and Louis LaBossiere.
