Roseanna I. Porter, 89

FREMONT, N.H. — Roseanna Idelsa "Rosie" Porter, 89, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Colonial Poplin Home, Fremont, N.H.

She was born Sept. 9, 1921 in Brentwood, N.H., daughter of the late Alphonse and Elizabeth (Hoyt) Bouchard. Rosie grew up in Brentwood, N.H., and resided for over 70 years in Fremont, N.H. She worked at several retail stores through the years, including Prescott Farms in Raymond, and King's Department Store in Plaistow.

Mainly, though, she was a homemaker to her husband and seven children, as family was her main focus and visiting them was a true enjoyment. In her spare time, Rosie enjoyed traveling with her granddaughter, Michelle throughout the world and playing cards with her niece, Janet. She also liked bowling and doing crossword puzzles. Being positive was a true gift that she always possessed and shared.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis A. Porter Sr., and one daughter, Gloria Willey. Rosie is survived by six children, Lewis Porter, Jr. of Brentwood, N.H., Peter Porter of Apache Junction, Ariz., Faith Chase of Raymond, N.H., Richard Porter of Fremont, N.H., Ramona Simmel of Wilton, Maine, and Roger Porter of Germany; and one son-in-law, Ryan Willey of Raymond, N.H.; 23 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews

ARRANGEMENTS: A calling hour will be held on Friday, May 20, 2011 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond, N.H. Funeral services will follow on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Village Cemetery, Fremont, N.H. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to either, The Ellis School Student Activities Fund, 436 Main St., Fremont, NH 03044, or the Colonial Poplin Activity Fund, 442 Main St., Fremont, NH 03044.     Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
