Stanwood R. Morss, 87

BOXFORD — Mr. Stanwood R. Morss, 87, a lifelong resident of West Boxford, died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

He was born in Boxford, on April 4, 1924, son of the late Walter K. and Evelyn (Pearl) Morss. He was educated in the Boxford schools and graduated from Andover High School.

Stanwood was a sixth generation farmer alongside his father at Walter K. Morss & Son Farm. His family's berry farm of over 300 acres shipped their product throughout the U.S. as well as to several customers in other countries.

Stanwood was always generous in supplying his berries locally to various charitable organizations. He retired just five years ago at the age of 82. Stanwood enjoyed collecting stamps and was a member of a long distance radio club.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Stenny H. (Martherus) Morss of West Boxford; stepson, Ronald J. Laurenzo and his wife Christine L. of Haverhill; and a step-grandson, Dana A. Sargent of Haverhill.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St., Bradford. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. An hour of visitation will precede the service on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Bradford Funeral Home.     Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
