William "Bud" Wagner

E. Kingston, N.H. — William “Bud” Wagner, born in West Orange, N.J., son of Edward Burnap Wagner and Dorothy Day on December 12, 1930, died in his home, Easter Sunday, with his family around him.

He was the father of Wendy Lassonde of Rowley, Mass., Deborah Knopf of Wenham, Mass., David Wagner of Rye, N.H., and Mark Wagner of Wenham, Mass.; and grandfather of, Melissa (Lassonde) and Dr. Daniel Kroeger of Newtonville, Mass., Megan (Lassonde) and Evan Burnham of Leicester, Vt., Kristin Knopf of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Katherine Knopf of Cambridge, Mass.

An employee of General Mills upon graduation, he worked in the Albany, N.Y., area for a few years before moving to Northern New York. After marrying Audrey A. Wagner of his hometown of East Aurora, New York, he was then transferred to the Boston area for several more years before leaving General Mills. He entered the engineering world, serving as general manager of Harlow Imrie Assoc. of Newton, Mass., and later as General Manager of a North Shore plant in Beverly, Mass., for a few years before inventing the Lectro Charger, an electrostatic spray gun for manufacturing, and starting his own company, Lectrox. The Lectro Charger was sold overseas as well as in every state in America. After Lectrox, he started his own business, Wagner Consultants, which allowed him to take his passion and extensive knowledge of coatings engineering to hundreds of manufacturing clients.

In Wenham, he served several years as Deacon in the First Congregational Church of Wenham, Mass., and upon moving, served as a member of the Diaconate on Pastoral Care committee of the First Congregational Church of Kingston, N.H.

ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 11 a.m., at the First Congregational Church of Kingston, 6 Church St., Kingston, N.H.     LAWRENCE — Marie Rose (Robidoux) Audy, passed away at her home surrounded by her family, after suffering a stroke in April. She was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Rose A. (Betit) and Alfred Robidoux, originally of Quebec, Canada. She was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Armand Joseph Audy, who passed away on June 28, 1976.

  • Francis M. Lurvey, 76

    Bar Harbor, ME — Francis M. Lurvey passed away Sunday, June 22, in Bar Harbor, Maine, after battling cancer. By his side were his sons, Edwin Lurvey and Steven Lurvey and his niece and husband, Debra and Richard Carey, as well as cousin, Marion McDonald. He was the son of Edwin R Lurvey (Bar Harbor) and Delia Amazeen (Dexter). He is survived by five children, a stepson, and their families. His sons, Edwin and wife April, Steven and wife, Pam, David and his daughter, Meghan, as well as his daughters, Lorraine and Ellen and her husband, Paul DiScipio with daughters, Katherine and Julia, and his stepson, Brian Faulkner and wife, Jody with children, Trevor, Rachel, and Keith. He is also survived by his sister, Sheryl, and many nieces and nephews including Frank Lurvey and Elaine Langer. Francis was predeceased by his twin brother, Frank, as well as his brothers, Edwin and Erwin. He was also predeceased by his longtime companion, Brian and Edwin’s mother, Maureen Faulkner and former wife, Roberta Lurvey Gilmore.
