Doris Bennett, 94

NEWTON JUNCTION, N.H. — Doris (Robinson) Bennett, 94, died peacefully December 19, 2011 at Hillsborough Nursing Home in Goffstown, NH.

Doris was born in Methuen, January 30, 1917 to James Robinson and Faith Crossley Robinson. She attended Methuen public schools, graduated from the Edward F. Searles High School and The McIntosh School of Business. She worked as a secretary at Turner's Dairy in Salem, NH and retired from Western Electric in 1977. She was the first organist at St. David's Episcopal Church in Salem, NH during its first few years as a church. After living in Salem for 37 years she moved to Newton, NH for 25 years.

For their wonderful care and support, Doris' family would like to thank the staff at Hillsborough Nursing Home. Doris was the wife of the late Robert Bennett and mother of the late Marilyn Robinson and Barbara Dube. She is survived by a son Robert Bennett and his wife Jan Bennett of Newton, NH; grandchildren Pamela Hallett of Exeter, NH, Ray Dube of New Braunfels, TX, Rob Bennett of Manchester, NH and Chris Bennett of New Boston, NH; she also leaves 8 great-grandchildren.

ARRANGEMENTS: There will be a private burial from the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.     Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
