Garvey E. Coolen, 85

ATKINSON, N.H. — Garvey Earl Coolen, 85, of Atkinson, N.H. and formerly of Georgetown, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Care Center in Derry, N.H.

Mr. Coolen was born in Everett, the son of the late Oscar S. and Jenny W. (Crossman) Coolen. He was a Navy veteran and was a contractor in the Greater Georgetown area.

He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Pike and husband Alfred of Atkinson, N.H., Linda Demers and husband Robert of Saco, Maine, and Denise Fecteau of Biddeford, Maine; former wife Constance Coolen of Atkinson, N.H.; grandchildren, Jeremy and Jamie Coolen, Shannon Demers, Crystal and Vincent Fecteau; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sons, Dennis and Michael Coolen; his brother, Vance; his sister, Thelma Tabor; and his granddaughter, Bobbie-Anne.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Merton E. Roberts Jr. and Conte Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant St., Georgetown.     Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
