Carolyn F. Manning, 83

KINGSTON, N.H. — Carolyn F. (Boyd) Manning, 83, died peacefully Monday, May 30, 2011 at her home with her family.

Raised and educated in Malden, daughter of the late Russell and Evelyn (Grey) Boyd, she graduated from Cheverus High School, Class of 1946, and first worked as an operator at Converse Rubber and later for New England Telephone.

A resident of Wakefield before moving to Kingston in 1974, she enjoyed being a housewife, mother, a devoted grandmother to her grandson Jacob, and homemaker.

Mrs. Manning was a collector of clocks and also was an accomplished knitter and crotchetier. She also enjoyed gardening, ceramics, collecting cookbooks and gadgets and visiting QVC.

The wife of the late Robert H. Manning with whom she enjoyed 50 years of marriage, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lyn and John Cogswell of Kingston, with whom she made her home; her grandson, Jacob R. Cogswell, of Kingston; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Anne Boyd, of Malden; and six beloved nephews and one beloved niece.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral to be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Kingston. Family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 9 to 9:45 a.m.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
